Where will you go if you have to evacuate?
Can you bring pets?
Do you have funds available in case of emergency?
Are there medications or special accommodations you or a loved one may need if you have to evacuate?
Do you have transportation to take you to a safe place?
If you home is unlivable, where will you stay? It could be for months even longer if your home has to be rebuilt.

Use our ARK Readiness APP to catalog and inventory your home. This is essential because insurance companies want your contents or belongings itemized with pictures, links and prices. Our APP will help you record and document all your belongings. If your house is destroyed you may not remember many things you had!
Make sure home insurance is up to date and the insurance company has the current mortgage company on record. If not an you have to file a claim, this could delay your ability to cash the checks.

Natural disasters are always stressful. Losing your home and everything in it is next level stress. Remember there is help out there. It may not come as fast you would like but things will get better. It is important to take care of yourself and your family. Going through this is like a death. The death of your home, your security, your safe haven. Do not be too hard on yourself and take time to laugh and make new memories. Homes can be fixed and rebuilt but they take time. If you are prepared it will be a smoother process.

About Us
Living on the coast of Florida and New Jersey for most of my life hurricanes are very familiar to me. I have gone through many even as high as a CAT5. In 2024 we were hit with Hurricane Helene then Milton and my home was flooded and we lost everything.
It was then I realized I did not know what to do. I had myself, my sons, my elderly mother and our little dog Bella to take care of. Going through this made me think how many other people do not know what to do so I put this website together with tips and helpful links.
